Oulu airport, the second busiest in Finland, offers over 20 daily flights to/from Helsinki and the flight time is less than 1 h.  The Helsinki airport offers 130 non-stop destinations around the world and 350 departures a day, connecting Europe with the rest of the world. 

There are comfortable bus and taxi connections from the Oulu airport to the center of the city where the conference venue is situated. The 17-kilometre journey between the airport and the conference venue takes approximately half an hour by bus. 

Arriving by Train

Oulu is also easily accessible by several daily train and bus connections. The distance between Helsinki and Oulu swishes by in only six hours by train, and many daily train connections via Tampere serve Oulu. 

Arriving by Car

There is a parking lot for approximately 100 persons for our meeting guests. In addition to the hotel yard area, there is a car park called Autoheikki nearby.

Accommodation

The conference venue, Hotel Lasaretti, has 49 hotel rooms. If you need to work durin your stay, the peaceful atmosphere and the well-functioning Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel make it a comfortable work environment.

The hotel is smoke-free, and uses allergy-friendly materials in the rooms. Hotel Lasaretti also offers wheelchair accessible rooms.

The idyllic scenery of Oulujoki River, the yard area with its historical buildings and the high quality of our renovated hotel rooms give our guests a chance to indulge themselves. A buffet breakfast, use of the hotel sauna and fitness room are included in the reservation.
