Oulu airport, the second busiest in Finland, offers over 20 daily flights to/from Helsinki and the flight time is less than 1 h.  The Helsinki airport offers 130 non-stop destinations around the world and 350 departures a day, connecting Europe with the rest of the world. 

There are comfortable bus and taxi connections from the Oulu airport to the center of the city where the conference venue is situated. The 15-kilometre journey between the airport and the conference venue takes approximately half an hour by bus. 

Arriving by Train

Oulu is also easily accessible by several daily train and bus connections. The distance between Helsinki and Oulu swishes by in only six hours by train, and many daily train connections via Tampere serve Oulu.

Parking spaces found near the Kontinkangas campus are subject to a charge. On the Kontinkangas campus, the university does not have separate guest parking spaces.
