Thank you for considering submitting your manuscript to NCDHWS 2026. To ensure a smooth submission and review process, please follow the guidelines below.


Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation and Submission Procedure 

Instructions for Paper Formatting and Submission 

Use the official Springer templates (LaTeX2e or Word), available on the Springer website or below to prepare papers of all submission types.

We accept three categories of submissions:

  1. Full Papers (most preferred submission type), 10-> pages 
  2. Short Papers: 4-9 pages 
  3. Abstracts: 1-3 pages  

Accepted full and short papers will be published in the Springer CCIS Open Access proceedings and indexed in SCOPUS, EI Compendex, DBLP, INSPEC, SCImago, etc. Abstracts will be included in the backmatter of the published volume (not indexed). 

Paper structure and other guidelines: 

  • Include the following sections: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods / Study Scenario, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, References, Acknowledgements.  
  • Use original images or obtain copyright permissions in advance.  
  • Use numbered citation style (e.g., [1], [2]) and list references in order of appearance.  
  • Include your ORCID if available.  

Anonymization of the first submission: The review process is double-blind: authors, reviewers, and area chairs must remain anonymous; therefore you must remove author names, affiliations, and un-identify the self-references from the manuscript for the first submission.  

Submission: 

  • Submit your paper by 15 January 2026 via the EDAS submission platform (registration required  
  • Authors select 1–3 topics from the conference topic list that best align with the content of their manuscript. 
  • In accordance with Springer’s guidelines, authors are required to indicate whether and how artificial intelligence (AI) tools were used during the preparation of the manuscript. 
  • Each accepted paper will be presented either as a rapid oral or a poster presentation.

Revision and Final Submission
  • Each paper will be reviewed by at least three independent reviewers, who will evaluate: 
    • Originality and novelty 
    • Clarity of presentation 
    • Depth of analysis and discussion 
    • Impact of results 
    • Language quality 
    • Quality of figures and tables 
  • All submissions will undergo a plagiarism check. 
  • Reviewers will assign scores and provide suggestions for improvement. 
  • Authors of accepted papers must revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback. 
  • Reviewers will not re-evaluate revised papers, but the Scientific Committee may verify that suggested changes have been implemented. 
  • The Scientific Committee will assess the reviews, calculate average scores, and make final decisions regarding acceptance or rejection. 
  • Final (camera-ready) versions of the papers must be submitted by 31st March 2026. 
  • Separate guidelines will be provided for preparing the camera-ready version to meet Springer CCIS publication requirements. 
Important Notes
  • Accepted papers will be published in the Springer CCIS series. 
  • Only full and short papers are indexed in databases such as Scopus, Google Scholar, ACM, and DBLP. 
  • Abstracts will be included only in the backmatter of the Springer book and not indexed. 
  • Each accepted paper – regardless of type – will be assigned either a rapid oral presentation slot or a poster stand during the conference. 
  • Oral presentations are asked to be sent two weeks before the beginning of the conference.
  • Provide complete co-author information in the EDAS submission form by the paper submission deadline.
